Water Tanks

Q. I am renovating is there any regulations I need to adhere to?

A. We can advise of most. Your local council can provide information also but it is a very good idea if you can put the tank in first as there is no rebates available after your plans have been lodged. This also applies to swimming pool installations.

Q. What is the difference of steel and poly tanks?

A. Steel tanks look good with matching colourbond roofing and they can take on a modern to a country look depending on the landscape and buildings around. They are very good for being able to order the exact dimensions to suit the area. Poly tanks would have a much longer life expectancy and have a larger colour selection and are generally about 20-30% less expensive than steel.

Q.What does my tank need to sit on?

A. Most slimline tanks need a base of either contained crusher dust or poured concrete. The minimum requirement for a round tank is crusher dust. On the installation page there is an image of a contained base.

Q. I want to have a tank installed, where do I start?

A. If you live in Sydney, Central Coast or Newcastle we can do a free onsite quote and access the site for size, location and type of tank.

Q. I live in a remote area. How can I buy a tank?

All you need to do is search the site for a tank you like, look at the delivery area of that company to see if they deliver to your area, or simply call us and we will advise.
